Trade, Board of
p. ext. Lords Commissioners of Trade and Plantations

(inglés: "Lores comisionados del comercio y las plantaciones).

Organismo asesor que vigilaba los asuntos comerciales coloniales de América del Norte. Establecido en 1696 para reemplazar a los Lords of Trade (Lores del comercio) (1675–96), revisaba las leyes coloniales para cerciorarse de que fueran de máximo beneficio para las políticas comerciales inglesas. La junta nombraba a los gobernadores coloniales, recomendaba al parlamento leyes que afectaban a las colonias y recibía quejas de las colonias acerca de sus administradores. Carecía de facultades ejecutivas o legislativas, pero llegó a ser el principal organismo normativo colonial del gobierno británico. Fue abolido en 1782.
